These vital non-commissioned volunteers are utilized in special capacities within the office. For example: public relations, traffic control, dispatch, vacation house checks, and transporting the Incident Command Vehicle.  The Posse also assists in providing security to the Courthouse and crime scene protection.    

Although there is no POST Certification requirement, they provide essential assistance in critical areas.
