MEET COMMANDER LAD SULLIVAN
NEW LEADERSHIP DELIVERING RESULTS FOR OUR COMMUNITY
Lad Sullivan has lived in the Cripple Creek area of Teller County since 1998. He has been married to his wife Shelly for over 33 years. They have a son, whom they raised in the Cripple Creek area and is now attending college in southern Colorado.
Lad, who is a veteran of the United States Air Force, started his Law Enforcement career in 1991 as a Trooper with the Colorado State Patrol. In 2001, he transferred to the Division of Gaming, working out of the Cripple Creek office. In 2006 he was promoted to the Agent in Charge of the Central City/Black Hawk Gaming District. Lad joined the Teller County Sheriff Department in June of 2019 after retiring from the State of Colorado. He now proudly serves the citizens of Teller County as Commander of the Teller County Jail.
