At the regular Teller County Board of Commissioners meeting Thursday, October 26, 2017, dispatcher Emily Hudgens was presented with a life saving award from the El Paso/Teller E911 Authority.
Emily answered a 911 call where someone was in cardiac arrest. Emily calmly talked the caller through CPR. The person was transported to the hospital and survived.
This is just one example of the difference one person can make in others’ lives. The Teller County Sheriff’s is very proud of Emily and all our communications personnel.
