SUSPECT IN KILLING ONE AND DISMEMBERMENT OF ANOTHER DOG ARRESTED IN CENTENNIAL, CO
Teller County, CO, July 27, 2020– Late last night, members of the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, acting upon information given to them by TCSO, located the suspect in the Teller County animal abuse case that has garnered nearly a million views on Facebook after the publics help was requested in locating him.
Matthew Stephen Dieringer was located at the Days Inn Motel at Clinton & Geddes and was taken into custody on the Teller County warrant for two counts of Aggravated Animal Abuse, a felony six.
The Teller County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the public for their interest in this case and vigilance in watching out for Mr. Dieringer. We would also like to thank our law enforcement partners at the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force. It is times like these that remind us all that all life is precious and partnerships with our community and law enforcement partners creates opportunities for great outcomes. Dieringer is currently being held in the Arapahoe Detentions Facility on a $10,000.00 cash-only bond and will eventually be transferred to the Teller County Detentions Center.
